Copper ingots, Bars & Billets
Copper ingots are used in the manufacturing of electric wires, copper pipes and other engineering industries. Usually pure copper is used for the most of electrical applications such as the production of cables and super enamelled wires where it is essential that purity is maintained during production in order to ensure high conductivity, consistent anneal ability and freedom from breaks during rod production and subsequent wire drawing.
For non-electrical purposes, copper is used to make large quantities of plumbing tube, roofing sheet, heat exchangers’ tubes and various copper alloys. High electrical conductivity is not mandatory and other quality requirements are not so onerous. Normally secondary copper is used for the manufacture of these materials, though still within stipulated quality limits for impurities.
Our products are manufactured under strict quality control systems and tested for national and international standards. We are producing Copper Ingots by melting and refining copper scrap in furnace to produce Copper Ingots of 99.96% to 99.98% purity.
Quality
With high purity along with high conductivity and malleability, copper ingots manufactured by us are easily drawn into first copper rods and then further drawn into finer gauges of wires as required for the production of cables and super enamelled wires. For non-electrical grade copper, our ingots prove very economical due to their high purity and malleability.
Hence our copper ingots are used extensively in electrical industry, extrusion industry and engineering industry to produce quality products.
